NEW EP! "Aranvalyë" (The Eliriën Trilogy) with Joran Elane

Get ready for the latest episode in "The Eliriën Trilogy" - our new single "Aranvalyë", or "Desert of the Soul" . This is the second installment following our debut episode "Dûvathar".

"The Story"

In ancient times, there stood a "Dûvathar" called Eleriën... a noble "Dreamweaver" elf of pure heart,

lifting always her gaze to the starlit heavens, and imploring the universe to infuse him with the frequency of the harmonies of a true lover.

"Aranvalyë" tells the story when she finds herself lost in a boundless golden desert under the infinite sky, driven by a deeper quest for self-discovery and purpose. As she navigates the scorching sands, her spirit remains unbroken, tested by the stars' watchful gaze. Her journey culminates in discovering a hidden oasis, a haven amidst the dunes.

We gather 'neath thy silvery light, to know

Thy power, thy beauty, and thy gentle might,

Maiden, Mother, Crone, one and all,

We invoke thy presence, in this sacred space,

And ask thy blessings, in this lunar place.

Guiding us through life's joys and aftermath,

May thy gentle beams bring peace and rest,

We offer thee, our love, our praise, and our song,

May it rise to thee, like incense, strong.

May thy blessings shine upon us, every day,

May thy light in our hearts, forever stay,

And guide us on, come what may.

Blessed be, dear Goddess, blessed be.

NEW EP! "Dûvathar" (The Eliriën Trilogy) with Joran Elane

Embark on a mystical journey of an elven soul seeking for his twin flame. Set in a fantasy realm of celestial spheres, peaceful oasis, and a magical desert. A unique collaboration between German composer, singer and producer Joran Elane and Argentine celtic musician and producer Eliseo Mauas Pinto. Immerse yourself in a sonic world of emotions and wonders.

"The Story"

In ancient times, there stood a "Dûvathar" called Eleriën... a noble "Dreamweaver" elf of pure heart,
lifting always his gaze to the starlit heavens, and imploring the universe to infuse him with the frequency of the harmonies of a true lover.

His heart was heavy with sorrow, yearning for someone who could protect and understand him. Filled with hope, sent away gentle whispers to the stars, seeking resonance in the celestial spheres. Amid the night’s shadows, his thoughts soared into the ether as he surrendered to the embrace of dreams.

He could suddenly visualize he would have to prove himself through not only a physical but a spiritual journey as well. His first step was to replenish himself, at a nearby oasis before being drawn by the desert of the soul and its howling wind.

    3. "Nurture your inner growth and creativity. This is a time for passionate love, magick and healing. Feel inspired and perceptive with the light that brings the secret knowledge and wisdom."
    FINAL WORDS

    It was indeed a marvellous reading, Both Emotional and Material Realms compliment here since the presence of the Stag and the Boar totems shall surely assist her to get rid of material things, and receive protection and spiritual strength in order to be more in contact with the Otherworld. Though according to her query I suggested her to stress on the feelings related to family, love, and friendship.

    1. The presence of the rabbit

      is asking her to evaluate dull feelings. Living with fear affects you in a negative way, so start thinking about the way to become wiser and more cautious. With their positive wisdom of love and health, begin to grow accompanied by those who may actually assist you. And the presence of the owl complements this quite well since he warns us about a forthcoming peril or change in our lives, or that you are about to leave old habits. She knows that you need to pay attention to her intuitions and discover those important signs on our path that are not obviously easy to see.
    2. Cats represent feminine power, hightened spiritual awareness, hidden meanings or hidden powers within the dreamer. Tamed cats make reference to a comfortable place in our lives. And hereby the meaning is reinforced by the Hound Dog, who show us that we are definitely devoted to our close and beloved ones, feeling joy serving others and being close to the needs of them

    It is more than simply yet another oracle.
     It is a synthesis of elementary runic combinations of wisdom and tree lore drafted from the common grounds between the Vikings and Celtic people.

    The "Magickal Whispers" elemental characters consist of runic combinations, where a Norse and an Irish rune seemingly fuse together to form a symbol. The runes that make up the spell have an added benefit in this context.
     *
    The power of the runes is archetypal and has the same influence on our lives as it did during mythical times, and the synergy posed by the linked rune magnifies the three aspects of the glyph: body, soul, and spirit, which are translated into its sign, its secret, and its sound.
    *
    We can activate, unite, interact, and direct the energy that runes convey using bind runes.Simply focus on their shared devotion to trees and runic alphabets, a topic that inspired me to create the present oracle in which Celtic and Viking sacred trees, deities, and kennings, take part whenever they share similar common ground.

    Merry Lughnasadh, Merry Lammas Day!

    Celtic calendar celebrates the Lughnasadh Festival  on August 1st (Old Irish: Lugnasad, pronounced [luɣnəsəð]; Irish: Lúnasa; Scottish Gaelic: Lùnastal; Manx: Luanistyn) is a traditional Gaelic holiday celebrated on 1 August.

    It is in origin a harvest festival, corresponding to the Welsh Calan Awst and the English Lammas, the festival of the wheat harvest, and is the first harvest festival of the year.

    I have already issued a post on the feast of Lug last year, let's see what can we learn today about Lammas day?

    Lammas is often celebrated as the Wake for the Sacred King. As you know, a Wake is a Celebration of Life, not a time to grieve. And Lammas is a joyous time of celebration.

    Lammas Day seems to have been a great day of accounts in early British history; it is still a quarter day in Scotland. The origin of the word is much disputed.

    A writer in 1754 says:--"Our ancestors distributed the year into four quarters, Candlemas, Whitsuntide, Lammas, and Martinmas; and this was every whit as common as the present division of Lady Day, Midsummer, Michaelmas, and Christmas, Lammas was the specific day whereon Peter's Pence, most rigorously collected, was paid. It was thus a day of accounts, and 'latter Lammas' means last day of accounts."

    In the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle, where it is referred to regularly, it is called "the feast of first fruits".

    The 1st of August was called Lammas because, some authorities say, the priests were then wont to gather their tithe lambs; others derive it from the Saxon word Leffmesse i.e. bread mass, it being kept as a thanksgiving for the first fruits of the corn. It is also called gule or yule of August in old almanacs. Mr G. L. Gomme in The Antiquary has thus summarised the available facts:--"Lammas Day is properly the 1st of August. The Act of George II., which established the new style in England, excepted the days for the commencement of Lammas nights from the operation of the Statute. Lammas Day under this operation is now the 13th of August. It is one of the four cross quarter days as they are now called.

    Whitsuntide was formerly the first of these quarters, Lammas the second, Martinmas the next, and Candlemas the last. Such partition of the year was once as common as the present divisions of Lady Day, Midsummer, Michaelmas, and 'Xmas. Some rents are still payable on those ancient quarter days in England, and they were not long ago, even if they do not still continue, general in Scotland. It is a day on which many quaint customs were enacted; but the one great custom, which marks it as a link with a very remote past, is the removal of the fences from many lands throughout the country, and the throwing open to common pasturage of lands which, till this day from the end of last Lammastide, had been used as private property.

    In fact it is not too much to say that in this custom of Lammastide we have the key to the whole system of ancient agriculture. Wherever we find Lammas customs in England, we may take it for granted that it is the last remaining link of a whole group of customs which together make up the history of the primitive village community.

    It is curious to observe with what varying degrees of integrity customs have lived in various parts of the country. In some places, for instance, we may find only the bare mention of Lammastide, and the throwing down of fences and the consequent opening of land to common. In other places there is much more at the back of this Lammas customs--there is sufficient to enable us to open the great book of comparative politics and to take our studies to that ancient Aryan land, India, or even still further back in the history of primitive society, the native savages of Africa."

    Lammas, traditionally, is a merry time, a time of Fairs, Handfastings, and Feasts is expressed in the following poem by Robert Burns.
    It was on a Lammas night,
    When corn rigs are bonie,
    Beneath the moon's unclouded light,
    I held away to Annie:
    The time flew by, wi tentless heed,
    Till 'tween the late and early;
    Wi' sma' persuasion she agreed
    To see me thro' the barley.
    The sky was blue, the wind was still,
    The moon was shining clearly;
    I set her down, wi' right good will,
    Amang the rigs o'barley
    I ken't her heart was a' my ain;
    I lov'd her most sincerely;
    I kissed her owre and owre again,
    Among the rig o' barley.
    I locked her in my fond embrace;
    Her heart was beating rarely:
    My blessings on that happy place,
    Amang the rigs o'barley.
    But by the moon and stars so bright,
    That shone that hour so clearly!
    She ay shall bless that happy night,
    Amang the rigs o'barley.
    I hae been blythe wi' Comrades dear;
    I hae been merry drinking;
    I hae been joyfu' gath'rin gear;
    I hae been happy thinking:
    But a' the pleasures e'er I saw,
    Tho three times doubl'd fairley
    That happy night was worth then a'.
    Among the rig's o' barley.
    CHORUS
    Corn rigs, an' barley rigs,
    An' corn rigs are bonie:
    I'll ne'er forget that happy night,
    Among the rigs wi' Annie.

     Let us rejoice in the creation of new life, and be part of nature's wondrous cycle ☼.. Merry harvest and much joy to you all ... )♥(

    Animal worship was a common practice amongst the ancient Celts. They were considered messengers of gifts and powers from the Otherworld. They symbolize the essence of fertility and vitality.Following an animist creed, ancient Celts honored the forces of nature, revering the presence of the divine on every aspect of Mother Nature. According to their inward meaning, which may of course undergo transformations, they regarded animals as human souls or their embodiment, and also held totemistic and hunting cults.

    Nowadays, we are not so different from our ancients. Though we have further material control of our lives, we can also experience insecurity in our lives, and some of us appeal to divination in order to find a tip, a hint, an omen, or a hopeful answer.

    All of those who take good care of a pet, have surely experienced a unique and special bond between you and the animals you love. It has been proved that not only telepathic connections with pets coexist. In order to connect with them we must reach a receptive state. In order to speak to our guides and listen to their messages back, we must increase our vibration. This is the only way to get in tune into their frequency.

    They offer to us the gifts of happiness, vitality and healing, but we should always have present, that an animal apirit guide is not and cannot be chosen by us. We are not competent to choose any Spirit Guide as our private one. It is the spirit the one who chooses you, and decides to whom he will reveal himself and share his loyalty and gifted teachings. Always be true to yourself and follow your instincts. Trust on your personal abilities. Enhance your intuition and be open to receive their message.

     The featured artworks belong to the "Celtic Spirit Guides"™ Oracle Deck, a unique divination method that lets the characters reveal themselves according to fate. The way you place them, will be the way the Spirit Guide shall unveil itself or not. You will find it useful for clearing up your mind regarding certain moments and events in your life. Regaining your balance and strength, you will certainly find yourself more reflexive upon the faults and fears that threaten us.

    It is not only a divinatory oracle that should be used to predict the future, but a compendium of kennings and symbolism taken from the Ogham Tree alphabet, Druidry, and Celtic lore, in order to be used as a guide or a path to find the answer to our questions.

    Merry Imbolc! - Merry Candlemas!

    Imbolc (also Imbolg or Oimelc), or Brigid’s Day (Scots Gaelic Là Fhèill Brìghde, Irish Lá Fhéile Bríde, the feast day of St. Brigid), is an Irish festival marking the beginning of spring. Most commonly it is celebrated on February 1 or 2 (or February 12, according to the Old Calendar), which falls halfway between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox in the northern hemisphere.

    The festival was observed in Gaelic Ireland during the Middle Ages. Reference to Imbolc is made in Irish mythology, in the Tochmarc Emire of the Ulster Cycle. Imbolc was one of the four cross-quarter days referred to in Irish mythology, the others being Beltane, Lughnasadh and Samhain.
    It has been suggested that it was originally a pagan festival associated with the goddess Brigid, who was later Christianised as St. Brigid.

    In the 20th century, Imbolc was resurrected as a religious festival in Neopaganism, specifically in Wicca, Neo-druidry and Celtic reconstructionism.

    I felt this blog so enlightening that I loved to share it with you...

    The lore and traditions are many and varied surrounding this ancient, sacred festival. My own celebration of Imbolc consists of personal traditions I've developed over the years, inspired by ancestral practices, informed by my own Intuition. Keeping the day is to literally celebrate the PROMISE of spring. It's not yet here... but it's coming. And now, during the deepest, darkest leg of winter, when so many of us may be feeling restless or just plain worn out, we need that confirmation more than ever.

    The word Imbolc comes from a Gaelic term literally translated to mean "first milk". Now is when sheep and other farm animals begin to lactate; so even though we're in the deepest leg of winter, spring *IS* actually on the way - as indicated by the lactation, which means springtime baby animals are soon to arrive.

    This was a powerful sign for our ancestors, folks who lived a life quite different from our own. Imbolc was a harbinger that the hardship of life would ease up. Without grocery stores or malls to rely on, our ancestors had it rough (we think we do... but consider my next words...) By the time February came around, food and wood supplies may have gotten low, or they may have run out completely. Livestock, the elderly and very young children often died this time of year as a result of not enough sustenance, or the cold. These are sobering thoughts. And sobering reminders of how very blessed we are.

    While we no longer suffer those particular kinds of hardships, we do face our own challenges in these times, don' we? The deepest leg of the winter brings with it the annual and utterly unavoidable Dark Night of The Soul. Who can escape it? Have you ever tried? Futile. The experience is part and parcel of our soul's evolution, a required passage on the journey we're required to make through the seasons each year.

    We're meant to look closely at who we are... and who we want to be. We're meant to look with clear eyes at where we are in life, how far we've come, and where we've fallen short... Where do we want to be? What has worked... and what hasn't? What have we learned? What have we yet to learn? Are we willing?

    During the Dark Night of The Soul, individuals are encouraged to retreat into the dark cave of their own being in search of the soul-spark only they can find... that elusive soul-spark only they can see. By its' light, one can discern wisdom, insight, proper choices... Those are the gifts that prompt and fuel our rebirth, come spring. At least, that is the idea; are you game?

    Imbolc is essentially one and the same with Candlemas, the mainstream celebration of candles and the "holding of the light". Now you understand the significance!

    I like to do four things at Imbolc (Feb 1-2): I like to make a TREASURE MAP (called a vision board by some), ignite as many candles as I have and use these to live by day and night, sans electrical light; I like to bless the seeds I will plant on the Vernal Equinox in March (usually herb and flower seeds) and I like to make a milk-based dish for my daughter to enjoy, usually home-made rice pudding or sometimes my grandmother's bread pudding.

    Time allowing, I'll post the recipes for my delicious rice and bread puddings right here on my author's blog (I'm under deadline for print, photo and book work, darlings; give me a little time...). Meanwhile... here are instructions for making a Treasure Map.
    ❧ IMBOLC TREASURE MAP ❧
    Needed: Old magazines you don't mind cutting up, scissors, poster board of any size (a piece of copy paper will do in a pinch), glue stick, imagination.

    Instructions: Begin leafing through the magazines in search of images, phrases or words that *speak to you*. Look for pieces that depict who you are, who you want to be, what you love, what you want more of in your life. You can also depict goals, desires or dreams with your images, words and phrases.

    Glue them onto your poster board in any manner that is pleasing to your eye. You may further decorate your Treasure Map by coloring, drawing or writing words or phrases on it (I do this with colored pencils). Place the finished Treasure Map in a prominent place; you want to be able to glance at it frequently. It is, after all, the map that can lead you to your own personal treasure... that is, if you are willing to follow the trail.

    Happy Imbolc, everyone. A blessed Candlemas to you. Light a candle today... or five, or ten. Let the flames illuminate the beauty in your heart and the fierceness of your dreams. Let the light spark your soul alive... And bless yourself, my friends... for all that you are and all you will yet be.
    When the tides turn and the spring winds blow, we will emerge renewed, rebirthed, together.
    Love always from your ParaGoddess...
    Love, love, the most important thing is love... -JoLynne

    “Celtic Spirit Guides™" - Oracle Deck - My First Approach

    Since I was a little boy I am used to stare for long at certain animals, each time I have the chance to meet them. I perceive they are grateful for the least they have, loyal among each other, and yearning for the freedom they used to have long ago.

    As seasons passed by I got aware that humans and animals formed part of the creation, though for some egocentric and dominant reason, the humans took power over them and what they called the "wild nature". Mother Nature, instead of being regarded as our purveyor and our home, came to be a place with no respect nor consideration.  In fact, American Indians consider that humans lost their power to communicate with animals when they placed themselves above them, having dominion over all things as masters of the Earth.

    I believe that all things in Mother Earth are connected and we are all part of the Circle of Life, and that Spirit Guides are present in many forms. Animals are not the exception. They are soul beings with a singular intelligence and skill. In our case, ancient Celts were aware that the spirit of Mother Nature was present in all of its creations, and thus they worshiped plants and animals. They were respectful for their food, their protective and healing qualities.

    There is a poem by Walt Whitman that moved me a lot the first time I read it, and shares my same beliefs:

    "I think I could  turn and live with animals,
    They're so placid and self-contained,
    I stand and look at them long and long.
    They do not sweat and whine about their condition,
    They do not lie awake in the dark and weep for their sins,
    They do not make me sick discussing their duty to God,
    Not one  is dissatisfied,
    Not one is demented with the mania of owning things,
    Not one kneels to another,
    Nor to his kind that lived thousands of years ago,
    Not one is respectable or unhappy over the whole earth."

    ("Song of Myself", Walt Whitman, 1819-1892)

    Quite true, isn't it?. They have a different intellect from us. They can communicate among themselves not only by sound, and can even catch our aura and receive our mental messages.

    Like other prehistoric cultures, Celts had a strong spiritual relationship with their environment. Trees were reckoned to become the abode of the sprites or divinities that in many cases had power over vegetation. This particularly responds to a Totem stage, having animals, and plants, and the heavenly bodies conceived as animals for gods before the anthropomorphic gods were conceived.

    They even honored the birds, and the forest animals, with a conscious homage to the spirits that inhabit them. They are the divine intermediaries between this world and the realm of the Otherworld. They also represent the inner light of the spirit. The Celtic priesthood used to gather on these sacred groves, and it was divided into three classes; the druids, the bards and the vates. The vates were prophets and sooth-sayers, seers for the known by the Irish as fáith "prophet, seer". Like many other cultures, ancient Celts were also inclined to gain insights into a situation at hand, wonder about future events, auspicious times, the proper candidate for a marriage, or even the correct moment to start a new and successful project.

    These practices were done by those competent to interpret the messages sent by the gods through bird signs, animal entrails, and other various methods. In fact, they didn’t play the role of the oracles of ancient Greece for instance, who were wise persons thought to be portals through which the gods spoke directly to people.

    Nowadays, we are not so different from our ancients. Though we have further material control of our lives, we can also experience insecurity in our lives, and some of us appeal to divination in order to find a tip, a hint, an omen, or a hopeful answer. Divining is a healing art!
