"Magickal Whispers" is more than simply yet another oracle. It is a synthesis of elementary runic combinations of wisdom drafted from the common grounds between the Vikings and Celtic people. The present book was created as a sequel to my physical "Magickal Whispers"™ Deck, which is available on TheGameCrafter.com.
The elemental characters of the oracle consist of runic combinations, where a Norse and an Irish rune seemingly fuse together to form a symbol. The runes that make up the spell have an added benefit in this context. We can activate, unite, interact, and direct the energy that runes convey using bind runes.
I never had the intention of mingling both Norse and Celtic beliefs at all, since it is unlikely for me to worship a Celtic deity in the way it is accustomed to worship a Norse deity. I simply focused on their shared devotion to trees and runic alphabets, a topic that inspired me to create the present oracle in which Celtic sacred trees, deities, and kennings, take part whenever they share similar common ground.
The Norse–Gaels (Old Irish: Gall-Godil; Irish: Gall-Ghaeil; Scottish Gaelic: Gall-Ghàidheil, 'foreigner–Gaels') were a people with Gaelic and Norse heritage. They first appeared during the Viking Age, when Vikings who landed in Ireland and Scotland embraced Gaelic culture and intermarried with Gaels.
Although there is no genetic link between Vikings and Celts, they lived near each other circa 1000 BC, and Celtic civilization had a profound impact on the ancient Germanic peoples. As a result, they have a lot of similarities. The Irish are mainly Northern Celtic (Gaelic) people, whereas the Scandinavians are predominantly Northern Germanic people (Norse).
I am pretty sure there was an intermarriage between both cultures. A good testimony of this intermarriage is recent genetic testing in Iceland has revealed that its inhabitants own a significant amount of Celtic DNA [estimated at about 20%] in their gene pool. On the other hand, I imagine that the Norsemen who settled in Ireland continued to worship their own gods through their own practices and rituals.

The power of the runes is archetypal and has the same influence on our lives as it did during mythical times, and the synergy posed by the linked rune magnifies the three aspects of the glyph: body, soul, and spirit, which are translated into its sign, its secret, and its sound.

This is my most ambitious and dedicated work I have ever edited, and a way to share with you some of the general ideas of the Celtic Otherworld that attracted me most since the very first day I began to explore and learn about my Celtic roots.
With a cute an unique design, I included
some illustrations based on the medieval Irish manuscript known as
the Book Of Kells, and a couple of edited and colored engravings by
the celebrated artist Walter Crane.
Many cultures over the world are
used to believe that the soul or the spirit never dies. The Celts are
not the exception, since they were fierce in battle and did not fear
death. It was just the first step for a "journey of transmigrations".
And this happened to be in a different world. It is a single place with no shadows but the eternal light. A dimension of constant hope, plenty of adventures and trials to undergo until the triumphal return to the corporeal world. A new dimensional site where the "Underworld" and the "Otherworld" motif mingles as one, and the soul lives out another lifetime.
On this work, you will learn how intense it is the sense of natural symbolism in Celtic culture. You will get acquainted with some of the myths and motifs that have a spiritual and a symbolic form, or the attribution of symbolic meaning, or a character to something.

With the practice of "Tree Spirit Healing" I was able to find my personal connection with Mother Earth...It reminds me that we are part of the whole moved by the aim of finding our natural balance.
You can practice it daily, opening your senses and your hearts.Tree Spirit Healing helps us on our different levels of being, leading us through a deep relaxing experience.
Plant and Tree Spirit Healing has been a common practice of Shamans and Healers across the ages. Their somehow holistic methods worked with the spirit allies of Nature to find out the actual cause of any posible disease. They were used to each and every healing property of trees and herbs, which they kept in secret, and passed from one generation to the other.
I always had a close relationship with trees. I love to perceive which one allures me most, it is an odd feeling, as if the tree spirit invited me to touch its bark, smell, and feel its texture. Breathing at a wild wood opens new portals, and senses.
Touching the leaves, gathering twigs and cones and placing them on your energy centres or chakras, are practices very common to tree spirit healing. Selected essences according to the medicinal properties of barks, flowers, and leaves are also taken orally, or drank as infusions. Sometimes scented oils are placed on the wrists or inhaled too.
Sitting down against a tree, or hugging it all around, helps us to root our soul with Mother Earth. Connecting to the ground with bear feet, you will certainly feel your negative energies descending and flowing downwards, as the vital life and energies from the bark flow upwards from the ground upto the sky.
This practice known as "Earthing" or "Grounding", helps us to learn about how to reconnect with Mother Earth, aids us to discover how to release our stress and negative emotions, and to get more aware of the close relationship we should keep with the planet we live on. It replenishes and recharges our capability to stabilize our bioenergies with the reception of free electrons present on the Earth.
It is not casual that meditation practices are used to teach us to ground our bodies to the ground while we elevate our spirits. It is a cute comparison to the Tree of Life, we are the bridge between the Material and the Spiritual world, seeking the balance with our Inner Being who has been brought to ourselves to revere Nature, to nurture and heal from her, and give her protection and care in return.
Have yo ever stopped for a while and caught attention of our relationship with our environment.? Have you ever perceived the beauty of trees while walking through a park, or even felt excited by the scented beauty of a butterfly upon a flower?.
If you did so, you will certainly be aware of how nature may take influence on our health, energies, and human emotions. We realize of our deep connection with Earth, and as we balance our relationship with our ecosystem, we take notice we should become protectors of Nature and all her creatures.
I wrote this book from a Celtic point of view, honoring the respect that ancient Celts kept for Nature.
Trees were believed to be the abode of the sprites or divinities that in many cases had power over vegetation. They honored the trees and groves with a conscious homage to the spirits that inhabit them, and their hidden meanings as featured in the Ogham alphabet.
They kept their sacred places in dark groves where the spirits of nature dwelt, and Celtic priesthood used to gather on these sacred groves.
Certainly the nowadays custom of touching wood, to ward off evil or to wish good luck, is a living remnant of the ritual practices of our ancients, a time when they were used to pay respect to the tree and the healing powers of the spirits and deities that inhabited trees and groves.
With the present work you will surely find worthy to learn more about the symbolism of the trees and their relationship with your own inner spirituality.
It is almost a personal guide to become a Tree Hugger... !

Celts had a strong worship of nature sprites, and trees were primarily believed to be the residence of these regent spirits or divinities. Being in fact, a Celtic religion belief accepted nowadays as relatively certain, such as the studies made by Druids about their energy fields, timbers, and medical virtues.
Certainly the nowadays custom of of touching wood, to ward off evil or to wish good luck, is a living remnant of the ritual practices of our ancients, a time when they were used to pay respect to the tree and the healing powers of the spirits and deities that inhabited trees and groves.

"The Butterfly Book Of Celtic Poems" Paperback Edition is a cute extended version of the original Kindle format, embelished now with assorted digital artworks created by the author.
Butteflies have always been associated to the Goddess, Mother Nature, and particularly conceived as Messengers of the Otherworld.
While reading the poems collected on this book we experience the same symbolism, enhancing our reading with an enjoyable Celtic voyage. We transport ourselves to the very same places described in them and it is then that we perceive vivid visual and auditory images.
As we read these poems we can taste the spirit of the Celtic heritage.
And we can feel the passion of a man, a poet, a bard, whose knowledge on the subject is so broad and who helps to keep this glorious past alive.
And we can hear the music of harps, of bagpipes, whistles and drums;the cries for freedom, the thundering waves in the sea, the roaring of the mighty boars.
We can even enjoy the bonfires as they light up the sky. Each verse echoes with legends of old, bringing that past into our present. We can almost hear words uttered in the old language.

Más que un trabajo teórico se trata de una invitación al descubrimiento de una tradición común, una identidad aún viva que no debe ser ajena a quienes son cultores de lo céltico y a quienes deseen descubrirla.

"Keltia"
Antologia Poetica (1993-2013)
Authored by Eliseo Mauas Pinto

Authored by Eliseo Mauas Pinto
Authored by Eliseo Mauas Pinto
