In Zapica, their members render more emphasis to recover songs they feel most intimate and close, which comprises the singing form of coriquín. In fact, apart from interpreting repertoire of dance tunes and other asturian melodies, from several popular regions, they offer at shows a place for karaoke with the lyrics of the songs so that everyone can participate as many times people feel like but do not know how to sing the lyrics, or do not remember them.
Zapica, is also a word which is preserved in Asturias linked to the culture of the cider brewing, and which gives its name to the timber jars where the cider is poured from the barrels.
