MEMORABLE PICS: DANIEL GARCÍA DE LA CUESTA WITH BRAN – at the ASTURIAN CENTER OF BUENOS AIRES-( 2001)

Hereby some pics with the musician and folklorist Daniel García de la Cuesta . He comes from Asturias, Northern Spain, and participated for over twenty-five years of several associations of Ethnography and Folklore. I had the chance to meet him when he visited Argentina for a series of concerts and workshops on the "Bandurria" at the ASTURIAN CENTER OF BUENOS AIRES, instrument of which he is a devote musician. By the way, he was the one who translated into asturian language my book "Correspondences Between The Asturian And Galician Legends" edited by the Asturian Celtic League. Moreover, I already knew his musical work since I previously owned a tape recording of his legendary "Beleño" folk band. He lined-up many important folk bands in Asturias such as Guercu , Beleño, Merlin and Lliberdon. Currently works in different bands, and specially with Zapiko
Myself with a "Bandurria"
