About the Author
Lyman Frank Baum (May 15, 1856 – May 6, 1919) was an American author of children's books, best known for writing The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. He wrote thirteen novel sequels, nine other fantasy novels, and a host of other works (55 novels in total, plus four "lost" novels, 83 short stories, over 200 poems, an unknown number of scripts, and many miscellaneous writings), and made numerous attempts to bring his works to the stage and screen.
About the Illustrator
Babette van den Berg, is a Digital artist with a specialty in Fantasy Art from Dronten, in the Netherlands. She comes from a lineage of artists.Her Grandfather painted with oils and his father owned his own agency which was specialized in photography and publishing.
These influences are the main foundations of her works in illustrations and art. As a little girl, she was used to rush after school to watch the artists in her father's agency while they create their own designs.
In 2010, she started making digital artworks of her own. From Fantasy, Emotional, surreal to Dark Art. She has designed several covers for books, CD's, made illustrations for books and has her own site gallery of Fantasy Art at her deviantArt site.
